Sherry L. Buxton

Vice President, Clinical Products and Chief Nursing Information Officer

Sherry Buxton serves as vice president of clinical products and chief nursing information officer, leading Orlando Health’s full clinical technology portfolio, including the Epic electronic health record system. In addition, she heads all clinical product support, including revenue management and population health.

In her previous role as assistant vice president and chief information nursing officer, Sherry led Orlando Health’s mission-critical and high-profile Epic implementation. With more than 30 years at Orlando Health, she has played an integral role in advancing clinical systems and patient care delivery.

Sherry earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from East Tennessee State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She is a member of the Theta Epsilon Chapter of Sigma, the international honor society for global nursing excellence.
