Whitney Orawiec, MPH, MBA

As chief operating officer for Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Whitney Orawiec is responsible for the daily operations of the hospital as well as providing oversight for the development of high-quality and cost-effective programs and services to meet the needs of our patients and families, our physicians and our team members.

Prior to joining Orlando Health, Whitney served as senior director of surgical strategy and business operations for Connecticut Children’s Specialty Group where, along with the day-to-day operations of the surgical programs, she was tasked with developing and implementing strategies to expand the reach of Connecticut Children’s across the state. She also held previous positions as director of operations for the Department of Neurosurgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, and in the Emergency Department at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Whitney earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, a Master of Public Health from Boston University and an MBA from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut.
