Bio
Ahmed Nagib Mahmoud, MD, FACC, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group FHV Health. He specializes in cardiovascular disease and has a clinical interest in nuclear cardiology and cardiac computerized topography.
Advanced Cardiac Care
Dr. Mahmoud provides his patients with the most advanced cardiac care and a full range of diagnostic and corrective procedures. A few of these include:

Dr. Mahmoud’s Training
Dr. Mahmoud earned his medical degree and completed a residency in cardiovascular disease at Ain-Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, prior to his residency in internal medicine at the Weil Cornel-affiliated Hamad Medical Hospital in Doha, Qatar. He then continued his postdoctoral training at the University of Florida in Gainesville with a residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiovascular medicine, which were followed by a final fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Washington in Seattle.
About Dr. Mahmoud
Dr. Mahmoud is certified by the American Board of Interventional Cardiology, American Board of Cardiology, American Board of Internal Medicine, Certification Board of Cardiac Computerized Topography, and Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
His professional memberships include the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians and American Heart Association. His work has appeared in peer-reviewed publications such as the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and European Heart Journal, and he is a member of the editorial advisory board for Cardiology and Therapy Journal.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Mahmoud enjoys weightlifting, photography, swimming and statistical analysis. He is fluent in both English and Arabic.
