Radiation Oncology
Radiation therapy is one of the most common treatment options for cancer, using powerful beams of energy to target and kill cancer cells. Varian TrueBeam delivers highly precise radiotherapy treatment anywhere in the body, including lung, breast, prostate, head and neck. Using advanced imaging and an automated workflow, TrueBeam delivers powerful, accurate doses to reduce your treatment time.
Thoracic Conditions
Our fellowship trained physician provides proven treatments for all types of thoracic (chest) conditions. These include lung and esophagus cancers, as well as noncancerous thoracic conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). We are pioneers in offering the latest thoracic diagnostic and treatment options, including immunotherapy, robotic surgery, advanced radiation therapy, the LINX® device to treat GERD and clinical trial treatments. We are also the first in Florida to offer the specialized robotic bronchoscopy for a new level of precision in detecting and diagnosing lung cancer. More than 90 percent of our thoracic surgeries are minimally invasive, allowing our patients to recover faster with less pain and trauma.
Head and Neck Conditions
Our oncologists treat all types of head and neck cancers In adults and children, including ear, nose, sinuses, mouth, throat and thyroid cancer. We offer leading-edge treatments, including minimally invasive surgery, medications and radiation therapy, tailored to your specific type and stage of cancer. Colon and Rectal Conditions
We understand the impact that colon and rectal disorders can have on your daily activities and overall lifestyle quality. Our team of experts specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of conditions affecting the colon, rectum and anus, including diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease, pelvic floor abnormalities and anorectal conditions. We also place a special focus on the care for those with colorectal cancer.
Our skilled surgeons have expertise in sphincter-saving surgery for rectal cancer, and we offer colonoscopy and advanced treatment for colorectal polyps. As part of a multidisciplinary approach to care, we work together with other cancer and gastrointestinal specialists, which has helped us earn accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer for providing high-quality rectal cancer care.
