Cancer and its treatments can have significant effects on the body. To reduce the impact on your quality of life, Orlando Health has designed an Oncology Rehabilitation Program to meet the needs of patients undergoing cancer treatment.
The Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute monitors individuals with cancer before, during and after their treatments to watch for physical or functional limitations caused by the treatments. Our interdisciplinary team helps patients manage those symptoms, promote increased independence and most importantly, improve overall quality of life.
Our team will assess and treat changes in:

If changes occur, your physical or occupational therapist will help you develop a treatment plan to minimize the impact on your life. Early intervention helps to optimize long-term outcomes, promoting healthy lifestyles throughout treatment and survivorship.
