About Community Initiatives
The Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute focuses on the rehabilitation of patients during recovery with an emphasis on neurologic impairments, traumatic injuries and a wide range of disorders encompassing other illnesses and diseases.
Patients and families also assist in the development and implementation of the person-centered treatment plan, which is tailored to each individual patient based on their unique challenges and goals. The reintegration phase includes a focus on environmental factors that may impact patients’ lives after they transition from the inpatient rehabilitation facility, as they learn how to live with any ongoing effects of their condition. As such, we have created specific programs within the community to help better the lives of these patients as well as the lives of those who care for and interact with them.
