Carlos M. Carrasco

Senior Vice President, Orlando Health Mid-Florida Region; President, Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital

Carlos Carrasco is senior vice president of Orlando Health’s Mid-Florida Region and president of the soon-to-open Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital. He is responsible for the strategic development and operational performance of the services provided in Polk County, including a future hospital and free-standing emergency room in Lakeland.

Carlos has been with Orlando Health more than 25 years in progressive leadership positions, including serving as the president of Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute, which features the first dedicated orthopedic hospital in Florida, and chief operating officer at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Carlos earned a bachelor’s in occupational therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina, and an MBA from Webster University.
