Carlos M. Carrasco

Carlos Carrasco serves as senior vice president of Orlando Health’s Midwest Florida Region, responsible for the strategic development and operational performance of the services provided in Polk County, includes a future hospital and free-standing emergency room in Lakeland. Additionally, Carlos leads the planning efforts for future development and growth to integrate advanced clinical services for the community.

Carlos has been with Orlando Health more than 25 years in progressive leadership positions, including serving as the president of Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute, which features the first dedicated orthopedic hospital in Florida, and chief operating officer at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Carlos earned a bachelor’s in occupational therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina, and an MBA from Webster University.
