Carlos M. Carrasco

Carlos serves as the president of Orlando Health’s Midwest Florida Region. Carlos is responsible for the strategic development and operational performance of the services provided in Polk County, including the new hospital, which is scheduled to open in spring of 2026. Additionally, he leads the planning efforts for future development and growth to integrate advanced clinical services for the community.

Carlos has been with Orlando Health for 25 years in progressive leadership positions including serving as the president of Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute, which includes the first orthopedic hospital in Florida, and chief operating officer at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC).

Carlos earned a Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina, and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University.
