Carlos M. Carrasco

Senior Vice President, Orlando Health; President, Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute

In this new role Carlos will be responsible for the strategic development and operational performance of the orthopedic specialty hospital & clinics, scheduled to open in summer, 2023. Additionally, he will lead the planning efforts for future development and growth to integrate orthopedic patient care, medical education, research and innovation initiatives.

Carlos has been with Orlando Health for 25 years in progressive leadership positions including staff, occupational therapist; manager, Orlando Health Rehabilitation Institute; director, Business Development and Innovation; chief operating officer, Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) and vice president operations, Orlando Health ORMC.

Carlos earned a Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina, and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University.

Carlos will bring great operational expertise and strategic knowledge to this role, as he partners with our physicians and leaders to develop the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute.
