Mary Rogers, MSN/Ed, RN, NEA-BC

Mary joined Orlando Health in 1987 as a staff nurse in the 54-bed pediatric unit at Orlando Regional Medical Center. She was appointed as the Chief Nursing Officer for Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and an Assistant Vice President for Orlando Health in June 2019. In 2024, she was also named Chief Nursing Officer for Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies. Prior to Mary’s appointment, she held numerous leadership roles ranging from patient care administrator to nursing operations manager in the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Unit. In her roles with Orlando Health, Mary has been significant in leading teams in achieving Magnet designation, and developing and implementing innovative strategies to help our nursing units create healthy and rewarding work environments.

Mary earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Valdosta State University and a master’s degree in nursing, specializing in education from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, Mary is certified as an advanced nurse executive (NEA-BC).

Mary’s involvement and continued commitment to the community includes being a member of the Advisory Board with Our Legacy, the American Organization of Nurse Executives and the Florida Organization of Nurse Executives.
