Stella Mason, MBA, MSN, CRRN

In her role as chief nursing officer for Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute, Stella Mason provides leadership for activities, processes and policies that support high-quality patient care for the nursing and other clinical teams.

Stella comes to Orlando Health from Life Point Rehabilitation where, as area director of operations, she was responsible for multiple inpatient rehabilitation facilities in a four-state area. Prior to holding that position, Stella spent five years as an administrative surveyor for CARF International in Tucson, Arizona, the accreditation organization for medical rehabilitation facilities. She also has served in director of nursing roles for healthcare facilities in North Carolina, Florida and New Jersey.

Stella earned a master’s in nursing from the University of Phoenix and an MBA from Southampton University in the U.K. She is a certified rehabilitation registered nurse (CRRN) as well as a member of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She served as chair for the Rehabilitation Nursing Certification Board, a component of ARN that administers the CRRN program, from 2017 to 2022.
