Orlando Health hospitals and service lines were recognized among the best in the nation and region in U.S. News & World Report’s adult hospital rankings, which were released today.
At the national level, Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) — along with Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital and Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital, which share the same tax identification number — were ranked in the Top 50 for two service lines:
- Cardiology, Heart and Vascular Surgery (for the third consecutive year)

These U.S. News honors bring the healthcare system to seven Top 50-ranked programs, including the five continuing pediatric recognitions at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies.
In adult specialties, six additional programs at Orlando Health ORMC, Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips and Orlando Health Lake Mary earned national notice today from U.S. News for high-performing care, highlighting the depth and excellence of our clinical expertise. Those programs are: gastroenterology and GI surgery, pulmonology and lung surgery, urology, geriatrics, cancer and orthopedics.
“As Orlando Health continues to grow and evolve, we have never lost sight of why we’re here — to provide high-quality healthcare to all of our patients,” said Suzanne Worthington, chief quality officer, Orlando Health. “These distinctions demonstrate the expertise and commitment of our doctors, nurses and other team members to the healthcare needs of the individuals and the communities we serve.”
Orlando Health ORMC, Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips and Orlando Health Lake Mary, which were jointly ranked No. 5 in the state, also received 2025-2026 “Best Regional Hospital” designation. Additionally, they were regionally rated as high performing in 21 common adult procedures and conditions, including back surgery, hip replacement, colon cancer surgery and pneumonia.
Several of our community hospitals across Florida also were recognized as high performing at the regional level:
