Brain and Spine Tumor Support Group
This group benefits anyone currently or previously diagnosed and treated for a brain or spine tumor and meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Telemedicine room on the fourth floor at UF Health Cancer Center at Orlando Health. The first hour will feature an interactive review/live internet broadcast by a Cancer Center specialist on different topics of interest. The second hour will focus on moderated group discussions for patients and caregivers. Light food choices will be provided. Please call Maureen O’Brien, MSW, LCSW at 321.841.6512. to register. Breast Cancer Support Group
This group is to benefit anyone currently or previously diagnosed and treated for breast cancer. This group meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the 4th floor classrooms at UF Health Cancer Center at Orlando Health. Please call Alison Issen, LMHC, at 321.841.5348.  **Please note: Spouses/partners are welcome.**

Look Good … Feel Better
Co-sponsored by the American Cancer Society. Specially trained cosmetology professionals in the community donate their time and expertise to teach women how to use cosmetics, wigs and scarves to cope with the unpleasant side effects of cancer treatment. Seating is limited, registration is required. Please call the American Cancer Society at 800.227.2345 to register.

Hoping and Coping: General Cancer Support Group
This weekly drop-in group explores ways of coping with a cancer diagnosis and cancer treatment. Support groups help reduce stress and provide comfort by creating a forum for sharing, discussion and problem-solving. Whether you are newly diagnosed, in remission, experiencing a recurrence or making a treatment decision; whether you are concerned about a friend, a family member, a colleague or a neighbor — you are invited to join the group. The meetings take place Wednesdays 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at UF Health Cancer Center at Orlando Health in the 4th floor classrooms. Laryngectomy Support Group — “The New Voice Club of Orlando”
This group benefits anyone who is a laryngectomy patient as well as their family members. Scheduled to meet the fourth Wednesday of the month from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm, these meetings are held in the 4th Floor Classrooms and feature a guest speaker, followed by an informal “meet and greet.” The meetings are open to any laryngectomee living within the Greater Orlando area.
