Orlando Health and Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Build on Successful First Year of Sports Medicine Partnership
MELBOURNE, Fl (September 1, 2026) – Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute is entering the second year of its four-year partnership as the official medical team of Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, continuing its commitment to keeping student-athletes healthy, safe and performing at their best both on and off the field.
The partnership provides Holy Trinity student-athletes with access to sports medicine expertise, sideline physician coverage, annual sports physicals and streamlined access to orthopedic and sports medicine care.
Orthopedic sports medicine physicians Dr. Kyle Cox and Dr. Hunter Rafoth, both of whom practice in Melbourne and call Brevard County home, will continue serving as team physicians for Holy Trinity athletics.

"Our goal is to help student-athletes stay healthy, recover safely from injuries and have access to expert care when they need it. We're excited to continue supporting Holy Trinity throughout the years ahead."
During the partnership's first year, Orlando Health East Region physicians volunteered 36 hours of on-campus sideline medical coverage, including support at all Holy Trinity home football games. The team also provided care for more than 50 student-athletes and worked closely with coaches and athletic staff on injury prevention strategies designed to help keep athletes healthy and competition ready.
In preparation for the 2026-27 school year, 127 Holy Trinity student-athletes received sports physicals through Orlando Health East Region's annual Sports Physicals Event held in Melbourne this July.
Holy Trinity Athletic Director James Phillips said the partnership has provided valuable support for the school's athletic programs.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy fields 44 athletic teams across 14 sports, providing students with opportunities to compete at the middle and high school levels. Through this continued partnership, Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute remains committed to supporting student-athlete health through injury prevention, sideline coverage, sports medicine expertise and convenient access to care when injuries occur.
