The Interview
We are pleased to offer both virtual and in person interviews to best suit our applicants needs.
Virtual Interview
We offer both morning and afternoon sessions for virtual interviews. There will be a resident presentation, virtual tour, program director presentation, as well as time to meet with current residents and faculty in between faculty interviews.
In person Interview
Our interview day begins at 7:30am in order to introduce you to our program before you have the opportunity to observe some of our morning conferences. You will be introduced to some of our faculty, residents, and staff at conference as well as throughout your day at ORMC. Our day ends in the early afternoon, and all interviewees are more than welcome to stay for a period of observation in the emergency department.
Interview Schedule
- 7:30am - 8:30am Breakfast with the Program Director
- 8:30am - 9:00am Applicants attend conference
- 9:15am - 9:45am Resident Presentation
- 10:00am - 12:00pm Interviews
- 12:00pm -1:00pm Lunch
- 1:00pm - 2:00pm Tour of Facilities
- 2:00pm - 2:30pm Closing Thoughts
The Medical Education Building is at 1335 Sligh Boulevard. Emergency Medicine offices are located on Floor 5R. It is within easy walking distance of the main hospital building as well as the parking garage. Further instructions will be provided after scheduling your interview. It is very important that interviewees arrive on time, as we will be changing locations throughout the day!
