Adoptive Cell Transfer with TIL
We offer several immunotherapy treatments to fit your needs. Immunotherapy treatments are medicines that stimulate your immune system to fight cancer. The Orlando Health Cancer Institute is also one of only two locations in Florida to offer adoptive cellular therapy with tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL), which is a specific type of immunotherapy treatment. TIL uses your own cells from tumors to fight cancer.
If surgery and other treatments are not enough to cure your cancer, TIL provides another option. Cancer-fighting immune cells are removed from your tumors and multiplied in a lab. You receive an infusion of the cells so they can attack the cancer cells while leaving healthy cells unharmed.
