Drake Terrell, PA

Drake completed his undergraduate degree at Virginia Commonwealth University, followed by his graduate degree at Nova Southeastern University - Fort Lauderdale. His academic interests include social determinants of health. Originally during didactics he did not have an interest in cardiology, but after one rotation during school he quickly discovered his passion for it and knew he wanted to broaden his knowledge and be able to care for his patients at the top of his abilities. Accepting the opportunity to participate in this fellowship was an easy decision! Outside of work, Drake’s hobbies include board games, brunching, reading, working out and watching RuPaul’s Drag Race. A fun fact about Drake is that he was born with polysyndactly and had multiple surgeries as a baby, so his interest in medicine has always been a part of his life.
