Welcome_Dr_Jayaraj2

Welcome to the Gastroenterology Fellowship program at Orlando Health.

Our program fellowship at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center is an ACGME accredited three-year clinical training program. The curriculum is designed to cover all facets of gastroenterology and hepatology in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Inpatient rotations will encompass luminal, hepatology, pancreaticobiliary and nutritional services. Outpatient rotations will include inflammatory bowel diseases, medical pancreatology, hepatobiliary, and neurogastroenterology subspecialties which will provide invaluable exposure to all disciplines of digestive diseases. Training in endoscopy will include luminal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in both elective and emergent settings as well as exposure to advanced endoscopic interventions. A structured endoscopic training platform will enable the fellows to gain proficiency in almost all procedures performed and practiced by a general gastroenterologist.

The academic curriculum will be comprised of didactic lectures, multidisciplinary meetings, tumor boards, journal clubs and National and International symposiums that will be comprehensive and well rounded. The fellowship program offers dedicated research block to individuals interested in pursuing clinical or outcomes research and fellows will be mentored by faculty some of whom are world renowned with extensive research experience and exemplary scholarly record.

Our ultimate goal is to equip fellows with comprehensive skillsets that will enable them to practice competently and independently upon graduation.
