Laura Wagner PA-C

Program Director

Laura is a board-certified physician assistant. She attended Rhodes College and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and continued her education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she graduated Magnum Cum Laude with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. As part of our training, she completed multiple rotations in orthopedics prior to graduation.

In May 2018, Laura joined the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute where she works as a first assist in the OR for total joint replacements, arthroscopic ligament reconstructions, and orthopedic trauma. She works in clinic seeing multiple types of orthopedic injuries and concerns. Laura is the Advanced Practice Provider Supervisor for Orthopedics, and she is an active member of several organizations including The American Academy of Physician Assistants.
