Born in Carbondale, IL, to two young, recently graduated residents, Dr. Vega is a second-generation physician and is proud to follow in her parents’ footsteps.  She completed her undergraduate degree with a major in biomedical sciences and a minor in childhood education and development at the University of Central Florida. Following graduation, she attended medical school at Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine (Bayamon, Puerto Rico) and completed her

pediatrics residency at Brown University Pediatrics.  Outside of work, Dr. Vega enjoys Latin dancing, working out at Orange Theory, spending quality time with friends and family, going to the beach and trying new restaurants. Although born in Illinois, she considers Orlando home and is excited to be part of the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship program at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies.
