Dr. Brown joined Orlando Health in 2002 and is a member of the neonatal intensive care team at Orlando Health Winnie Palme. She is board-certified in neonatology – prenatal medicine.
Dr. Brown earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. She completed her pediatrics residency at Children's Medical Center in Dallas, followed by a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Prior to joining Orlando Health, Dr. Brown was an associate in the Department of Pediatric Medicine at Children's Medical Center.
Dr. Brown has been published in the Journal of Clinical Ethics and Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Florida Society of Neonatologists. She also serves as director of the NICU Transport Team and as a member of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor Committees on Neonatal Medicine & Breastfeeding.
