Why APH? For as long as I can remember, I’ve known I wanted to practice medicine, although the exact “why” and “which kind” weren’t always as clear. That all changed after I shadowed an APH subspecialist the summer after my first year of college. I instantly knew my calling was in pediatrics and that APH was the perfect place for me to train. APH combines outstanding residency education, dedicated patient care, and a true sense of home. Plus, the sunny weather and nearby theme parks don’t hurt either!
