Tolu Adebanjo McKenzie, MD, MPH

Dr. Tolulope Adebanjo is a board-certified pediatrician at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. As a hospitalist, she sees pediatric patients in the hospital and coordinates their care with specialty physicians.
She has experience in:
- Ordering and interpreting lab tests
- Prescribing medications
- Referring to specialists when needed
- Overseeing patient care
Dr. Adebanjo also is a board-certified preventive medicine physician.
Dr. Adebanjo’s Training
She earned her medical degree from the University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. Dr. Adebanjo completed her pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, where she worked an additional year as chief resident. Following her pediatric residency, she trained in epidemiology at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, where she evaluated scientific data to inform vaccine policy and clinical guidance.
Dr. Adebanjo also received a master’s in public health (MPH) from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health in Chapel Hill.

Dr. Adebanjo is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). She is a frequent lecturer and contributor to medical journals. Her professional memberships include the American College of Preventive Medicine and American Academy of Pediatrics.
