Andrea M. De Leon Tejeda, MD
Dr. Andrea De Leon Tejeda was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. An accomplished college volleyball player, she majored in biology with minors in chemistry and psychology. She earned her medical degree from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, Puerto Rico, and completed her internal medicine training at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. De Leon Tejeda has published numerous research papers in internal medicine and cardiology, with a focus on preventive cardiology. Her career interests include advanced heart failure and critical care. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys going to the beach, spending quality time with friends and family, watching true crime shows, and mentoring aspiring medical professionals.
