Dushawn Harley, MD

Dushawn Harley is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse educational background and a strong commitment to research and healthcare. He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine. Prior to that, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Xavier University, majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. During his medical training, Dushawn completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Valley Hospital Medical Center and will be starting his Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Orlando Health in July 2023

Dushawn's research experiences are extensive, and he has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications in prestigious journals such as CHEST Journal and Advanced Materials. He conducted research at renowned institutions like Keck School of Medicine at USC and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dushawn is not only dedicated to his professional pursuits but also actively engages in volunteer and community service activities. He has served as a mentor and teaching assistant in programs such as the UCLA Pre-Medical Enrichment Program (PREP) and Partners for Progress.

To further enhance his skills and knowledge, Dushawn pursued an MBA at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. His pursuit of an MBA alongside his medical training demonstrates his passion for leveraging business acumen to address health barriers and improve access to quality healthcare in underserved communities.
