Jason Winward, MD

Dr. Jason Winward was born in Miami, Florida, but grew up in Utah, where he graduated from Brigham Young University. He then obtained his M.D. at the University of Utah School of Medicine where he scored in the 97th percentile on his STEP 2 board exam and served as a private tutor, question writer for multiple board exam prep organizations, and a co-founder of Camp MD—an educational summer camp for high school students interested in careers in medicine. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Iowa where he received numerous awards and recognition as an exceptional educator. Additionally, Dr. Winward published numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts. After completing his residency training, he has come full circle back to Florida for his fellowship training in cardiovascular medicine with Orlando Health. In addition to cardiovascular medicine, Dr. Winward enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his wife and rambunctious children.
