Murali Iyyani, MD

Dr. Murali K. Iyyani grew up in South Florida and attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate studies. He obtained a degree in Business Administration, however soon realized his passion was with treating people and the world of medicine. This sparked his interest in returning to school where he attended the Florida State University College of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Orlando Health. He served as a Chief Resident and was honored with the Outstanding Resident Leadership Award for his commitment. Dr. Iyyani has multiple publications and competition-winning poster presentations in the fields of Internal Medicine and Cardiology. His academic interests include general cardiology and medical education. In his free time, Dr. Iyyani enjoys rooting for his favorite South Florida sports teams, obsessing over fantasy football every year, and trying all the new restaurants throughout Orlando.
