Kiran K. Mogali, MD, FACC, is an interventional cardiologist and peripheral endovascular specialist practicing with Orlando Health Heart & Vascular Institute in Clermont. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, interventional cardiology and echocardiography.
After earning his medical degree from Rangaraya Medical College in India, Dr. Mogali went on to complete his internal medicine residency, cardiovascular disease fellowship and interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville. While there, Dr. Mogali received the American College of Physicians Outstanding Resident award, the Best Ambulatory Resident of the Year award and was named chief fellow during his cardiology fellowship program.
Dr. Mogali received comprehensive training in coronary and peripheral vascular interventions, TAVR, alcohol septal ablation, ASD/PFO closure, IVC filter placement/retrieval and catheter-based thrombolysis for pulmonary embolism, DVT and acute arterial thrombotic occlusions.
Dr. Mogali’s primary interests are in the prevention, diagnosis and therapeutic intervention of cardiac and peripheral vascular diseases. Specific clinical interests include trans-radial catheterization, complex coronary interventions and limb salvage procedures.
Dr. Mogali serves as reviewer for the American College of Cardiology fellow-in-training clinical decision-making abstracts. He speaks English, Telugu and Hindi.
