Dr. Palma graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine after attending Davidson College. He completed pediatrics residency and neonatology fellowship at Stanford in 2012, where he also completed a master's degree in biomedical informatics. He continued on as faculty at Stanford through 2020 where he had a dual role in neonatology and clinical informatics.
Dr. Palma grew up in Maitland and his father, Paul Palma, was a neonatologist at Orlando Health for more than 30 years, from 1983 – 2016. Dr. Palma returned home to the Orlando area with his wife, Olga, and daughter, Nina, to be closer to family and join the group at Winnie Palmer to serve the babies and families of Central Florida.
