Fred Soliman, DO

Frederick E. Soliman, DO, MS, is a primary care sports medicine physician with Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. Athletes and those with physically active lifestyles turn to Dr. Soliman to advise them about how to improve their overall health and performance and prevent injuries. He specializes in several of today's most effective treatments, including ultrasound-guided injections and Tenex procedures. For those who do experience injury, he is impact certified and provides concussion diagnosis and management and care for musculoskeletal injuries.

Dr. Soliman earned his doctor of osteopathy from Lake Erie College of Osteopathy in Pennsylvania, and master's degree from Rosewell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo. He completed his residency in family medicine and fellowship in primary care sports medicine at UPCM Saint Margaret's in Pittsburgh.

Dr. Soliman has extensive experience providing sports medicine care to professional and collegiate teams. These include the Pittsburg Steelers, Pittsburg Penguins, and University of Pittsburg men's basketball and soccer. He most recently served as the head primary care sports physician for Ohio University. Today he continues in that role for the University of Central Florida.

In addition to presenting frequently at medical meetings and participating in multiple research projects, Dr. Soliman is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association, and American Society for Sports Medicine.
