Orlando Health is approved by the ACGME to train two residents per year.

Core Curriculum

The curriculum is designed to meet and exceed ACGME requirements while preparing residents for board certification and independent practice. Training integrates didactic sessions, simulation labs, and case-based learning. Weekly conferences include Grand Rounds, Journal Club, Morbidity & Mortality, and specialty-specific lectures. Residents progress through a competency-based system that emphasizes mastery of both foundational knowledge and advanced surgical techniques.

Conferences & Didactics

The educational program is enriched by regular didactics, multidisciplinary tumor boards, and simulation training. Residents are expected to maintain at least 80% attendance at all core conferences, reflecting our commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
