After starting his medical career in the US Army, John is celebrating 20 years as a practicing PA. During that career he has worked in ER/trauma, vascular surgery, and orthopedics. John has also been active in leadership and teaching of PAs during this time, working in several capacities. He enjoys lecturing on both clinical and non-clinical topics related to the profession and helping to contribute to its growth. Other interests include nutrition/fitness, reading/writing and spending time outdoors with his family.
