Dr. LaBrecque is an attending neonatologist at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies. Dr. LaBrecque earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He then completed a pediatric residency at the University of Alabama-Birmingham and completed his neonatal/perinatal fellowship training at Columbia University in New York City.
Before pursuing medicine, Dr. LaBrecque was a two-time graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology in his hometown of Atlanta. While at Georgia Tech, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and a master’s degree in health systems engineering.
Dr. LaBrecque’s interests in neonatology include education, cardiopulmonary physiology, respiratory mechanics, and the clinical utilization of technology in the NICU setting.
