Dr. Sharma earned his medical degree from Universal College of Medical Sciences in Nepal. He completed his residency at Mount Sinai Children’s Hospital in Chicago. “The diversity within the program, the feeling of family within the unit, and the nationally and internationally recognized faculty members were the deciding factors to choose the program.”
Interesting fact: Dr. Sharma continues to learn new things, including recently learning that “ladies’ fingers” are a type of cookie; not okra, which is also known as ladies finger.
