Why Orlando Health General Surgery? I did an away rotation here during my 4th year of medical school and I was blown away with how welcoming, hard-working, skilled, and cohesive the residents and attendings were. The residents operated regularly, took ownership of patient care, and were clearly skilled. I was impressed by the complexity of the cases, the autonomy given to senior residents, and the strong mentorship provided by the attendings. I knew that Orlando Health would not only challenge me but also support my growth into a well-rounded and capable surgeon
