Katherine Routson, DO

Katherine was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, where she also completed her undergraduate and medical degrees. She rotated at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital as a fourth-year medical student and absolutely loved her experience with the residents, faculty and patients – which is why she packed her bags to move across the country! Katherine is interested in becoming a generalist because she loves benign gynecology and general obstetrics and really enjoys forming relationships with patients and being able to follow them through a pregnancy and then for gynecologic care. Her favorite clinic visit is contraception education! When she isn’t working, she enjoys traveling with her significant other, they love hiking and visiting different national parks during their vacations. She is also a peloton girl, runner, and loves hot yoga (check out Orlando Power Yoga if you’re in the area!) She is constantly snacking at work so it’s hard for her to narrow down to one favorite snack, but her top three are dried mangos, trail mix, and dark chocolate! She is also a Celsius enthusiast (I think I’ve tried every flavor on the market).
