Ting Yu Wu, DO

Ting grew up in Taipei, Taiwan, before attending boarding school in California. She studied Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University and Narrative Medicine and Health Policy at Columbia University for graduate school. Initially thinking she would be a journalist; she felt the calling to medicine while working with an AIDS organization in New York City and decided to become a D.O. In medical school, she chose Obstetrics and Gynecology, because it encompassed all her interests in medicine, surgery, and public health. She loves the choreographed chaos of everyday OB/GYN and is leaning towards general practice. Outside of medicine, she is an avid badminton athlete! Ting enjoys watching documentaries and historical dramas, putting together 1000+ pieces jigsaw puzzles, running, and eating more than cooking. Her favorite snack is always changing, but right now it's Snapea wasabi ranch peas.
