Alexander Kong, MD

Dr. Alexander Kong attended medical school at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in his hometown in Barcelona, Spain. He completed his medical residency at UCF/HCA Internal Medicine Residency program in Orlando and Chief Residency in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at the Orlando VA Healthcare System. He serves as faculty at the University of Central Florida where he enjoys teaching and coaching medical students. He has multiple publications in the fields of Cardiology and Internal Medicine and has led several facility-wide process improvement projects. Dr. Kong's academic interests include general cardiology, medical education, and quality improvement. Outside of work, he enjoys playing soccer, being outdoors and spending time with family.
