Jean Carlos Fernandez Gonzalez, MD

Dr. Jean Carlos Fernandez Gonzalez was born in Puerto Rico and earned his medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan. He completed an internal medicine residency at St. Louis University Hospital in Missouri where he discovered his passion for cardiology and has developed a strong interest in advanced cardiac imaging. Dr. Fernandez Gonzalez chose the Orlando Health Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship for its standing as a robust program with strong leadership, advanced cardiovascular fellowships exposure, and the opportunity to serve a large Puerto Rican community. It also was attractive because of Orlando’s proximity to Puerto Rico. His interests outside of medicine include building PCs, playing video games with friends, investing, attending cars and coffee, and spending time with his wiener dog Milo. He is fluent in both Spanish and English.
