Justin Zumsteg, MD
Hand and Upper Extremity
Justin W. Zumsteg, MD, is a board-eligible orthopedic surgeon with the Orlando Health Orthopedic Institute, where he specializes in operative and non-operative treatment of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder with extensive training in hand and microvascular surgery.
As a collegiate swimmer at the University of Florida, Dr. Zumsteg earned many awards including being named a Rhodes Scholarship finalist. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School, where he was awarded the Academic Recognition Award for graduating among the top five students in his class. Following medical school, he completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery at the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center.
Dr. Zumsteg’s work has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals and has been presented at several regional and national meetings. He is also a candidate member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, and a member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
