Why Orlando Health General Surgery? As a UCF student, I was fortunate to have volunteered and shadowed here as a pre-med. I returned as a medical student to rotate in the SICU and really enjoyed working with the residents and surgeons. The culture of the program is unique in that the administration genuinely cares about the residents' education, and wellness, and I knew I would be supported here. The diversity and complexity of the surgical cases at ORMC allow for a well-rounded experience and our senior residents are very competent and ready for the next step in their careers.
Future career plans: Undecided but interested in a broad-based general surgery practice
