Joint Replacement

Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC)employs board certified orthopedic specialists and support staff for our extensive bone and joint healing programs. Surgical procedures performed at ORMC for joint replacement and repair include:

  • Finger joints
  • Elbow replacement
  • Shoulder joint
  • Hip joint: Minimally invasive
  • Knee Joint: Minimally invasive

Arthroscopy is less invasive and can be performed on a variety of bone and ligament injuries. ORMC's physicians are experts in both diagnostic and repair of injured tissue for all major joints in arms and legs, including:

  • Knee: Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) repair
  • Knee: Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) repair
  • Knee: Meniscal tear repair
  • Shoulder: Rotator cuff repair
  • Shoulder: Labral tear repair
  • Small Joints (wrist, elbow, ankle): Removal of damaged tissue due to pathologic conditions of the joint (i.e. arthritis)

ORMC also offers rehabilitation services to address individual needs at each phase of the rehabilitation process. This continuum allows us to effectively coordinate inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, to help people return to their normal everyday activities.
