Orlando Health’s flagship hospital is equipped to handle any major or minor emergency situation. Our team of emergency physicians are all board certified in Emergency Medicine and stand ready 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

As part of our commitment to serve our community, we are proud to be home to Central Florida’s only Level One Trauma Center. We also offer a dedicated area for minor emergencies to make your experience a shorter visit with the confidence of knowing you're in capable, compassionate hands.

Our technology and advanced medical treatments and procedures, along with our expert trauma team, have distinguished our Level One Trauma Center as the leader in emergency care for adult and pediatric patients.

When to Visit an Emergency Room

Emergency rooms are designed to handle life- or limb-threatening conditions. Visit an emergency room if you or a loved one experience:

• Broken or dislocated bones
• Chest pain
• Deep cuts or burns
• Loss of consciousness
• Seizures
• Serious allergic reactions
• Severe trouble breathing
• Trauma injuries

These lists are not all-inclusive. Always rely on your best judgment to determine if you need emergency care.
