Our Epilepsy Monitoring Unit is a resource for our patients as well as our team of epilepsy specialists. While in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, patients’ brain activity is observed by a registered technician using a electroencephalograph (EEG). By monitoring this activity, the team can record what happens before, during and after a seizure, which helps the team determine the most effective treatment plan as efficiently as possible.
