Patricia Tipton Bray, PT, MSHA
Director, Rehabilitation Services
Pat Tipton Bray PT, MSHA, has served as the Director of Rehabilitation Services at Health Central Hospital since 2005. Prior to which she served as a Manager, Outpatient Rehabilitation Services at Orlando Health for 20 years. At Health Central Hospital, she is responsible for the oversight of inpatient and outpatient staff to provide excellence in patient care delivery, achieving enhanced patient experience, producing strong departmental performance while maintaining budgetary lines, and identifying new avenues for referral sources and programs.
Pat received her Master’s degree in Science from the University of St. Francis in Health Services Administration in 2014. Pat is an alumnus from the University of Florida, where she received her B.S. degree in Health Services in Physical Therapy in 1984.
Pat has served in a leadership role for 31 of her 34 years as a Physical Therapist. She currently maintains, at minimum, 10 % patient care caseload on a weekly basis as she enjoys the opportunity to continue care at the bedside. When not working at Health Central Hospital, Pat’s spends her time gardening, running, cycling, strength training, and being a Grandmother.
Michael Klein, DPT, PT
Michael Klein earned his doctorate in physical therapy from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2015. He has since concentrated on orthopedic manual therapy to treat the “principal cause” of a patient’s problem by assessing their functional mobility utilizing biomechanical assessment. He tirelessly pursues excellence by committing to be a lifetime learner taking many continuing education courses to provide the most effective care while fostering efficient outcomes to his patients. His clinical interests include functional movement, neck pain, back pain, sacroiliac joint pain, knee pain, foot & ankle pain, sports injuries, and vestibular dysfunction. Michael enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, golfing, and watching football in his spare time.
Frank von Kouwen, PT
Frank van Kouwen is a Physical Therapist who works at Orlando Health Central’s Rehabilitation Department. Frank started several years ago at the start of the satellite office next to the NeuroSpine Institute and has been working in close relationship with Dr Masson and Dr Supler. He is specialized in Sports and Spine Rehabilitation and was instrumental in developing re- and prehabilitation programs for lumbar and cervical spine patients.
Frank graduated from the University of Applied Science, Utrecht, the Netherlands in 1991. Frank specialized in orthopedic rehabilitation and has worked in a sports-oriented outpatient clinic and for the Royal Dutch Soccer Association (KNVB). In 1996, Frank was a cofounder of “Fysio Sport & Training”, a company that integrates fitness, wellness, nutrition and weight loss, physical therapy and sports rehabilitation. Among many initiatives, they founded a spine rehabilitation program that was rolled out nation-wide and focused on “return to work” for employees who were sidelined because of back problems. Combining Physical Therapy and his passion for long distance running, Frank started several running groups that offered programs for participants of all ages and all levels.
Frank was trained in a variety of manual therapy techniques, including Kaltenborn, Cyriax and Mulligan. Frank is a Certified Mulligan Practitioner (CMP) and was trained by Brian Mulligan. Frank is also a graduate of the International Academy for Sport-science. Franks main area of expertise is spine rehabilitation, combining the principles of sports rehabilitation and manual techniques to optimize patient outcomes.
Juli Williams, PT
Juli Williams, PT, graduated from The Ohio State University, with Honors, in 1995 with a Bachelors in Physical Therapy. She has had a successful career working in outpatient Sports Medicine for over 22 yrs. She has worked in Maryland for the last 16 years in Sports Medicine and has recently relocated to Florida to be a part of the Orlando Health -- Health Central Hospital team. She has experience working with the running community and specializes in Biomechanics and orthotics. She has made orthotics for the last 20 years for children and adults to professional athletes. Her skill set also includes Myofascial release, Mulligans, Stanley Paris, Kineseotape, And McKenzie techniques. She believes in a good balance between exercise, manual therapy, and patient education to achieve a positive outcome and patient experience.
